Dryvr is designed with privacy in mind. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide you with the Service.
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password. This is required to authenticate your identity and provide access to your account.
- User-Provided Content: Information you input into the app — such as loads, expenses, and mileage — is stored to power the features you use. This data belongs to you.
- Device & Usage Data: We may collect limited technical data such as device type, operating system version, and app crash reports. This data is used solely to improve app performance and stability and is not linked to your identity.
2. What We Do Not Collect
We want to be direct: Dryvr does not collect, sell, or share your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes. Specifically, we do not:
- Sell your personal information to third parties
- Share your data with advertisers or data brokers
- Track your location in the background
- Collect sensitive financial account credentials
- Build behavioral profiles for targeted advertising
- Use your data to train AI or machine learning models without your explicit consent
3. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used exclusively to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Dryvr Service
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries
- Send essential service communications (e.g., account updates, security alerts)
- Improve app features and fix bugs based on aggregated, anonymized usage data
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices, including encrypted storage and secure transmission via HTTPS/TLS. We use Supabase as our backend infrastructure provider, which maintains SOC 2 compliance and employs robust access controls.
While no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Third-Party Services
Dryvr may use the following limited categories of third-party services:
- Cloud infrastructure and database providers (e.g., Supabase, Apple App Store, Google Play Store)
- Analytics tools for aggregated, anonymized crash and performance reporting
- Payment processors, if applicable, who handle payment data directly under their own privacy policies
We do not share your personally identifiable information with these third parties beyond what is required to deliver the Service. All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your information.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: You may request that we delete your account and associated personal data.
- Portability: You may request an export of your data in a portable format.

8. Children's Privacy
Dryvr is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@dryvr.io and we will promptly delete it.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information is being collected about you; (b) know whether your personal information is sold or disclosed and to whom; (c) opt out of the sale of your personal information; (d) access your personal information; and (e) not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
As stated in this policy, Dryvr does not sell personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the app prior to the change becoming effective. The updated policy will always be available at our website with a revised effective date.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
